The Tamagotchi Angel gives a new type of gameplay to virtual pets. Based on the afterlife, all of the available characters are angel-related. Angels live on pie and chocolate, while avoiding random bats from the underworld who like to steal their snacks.

Angel points and good deeds are the main focus with the Tamagotchi Angel. Angel points must stay high for the pet to be happy and healthy, and good deeds should be rewarded periodically.

While the one I have is Japanese, the Tamagotchi Angel was released in both Japanese and English. There are slight gameplay differences between the two, and the Japanese version is considered superior.
